Some links on Is It For Dogs may be affiliate links. If you purchase a product after following one of these links, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our dog-safety assessments.
Which networks we use
Today we work with the Awin affiliate network, currently with The Regal Mutt. Affiliate links appear mainly on the Offers page and are labelled as sponsored.
We are not currently part of the Amazon Associates programme, and there are no Amazon affiliate links on the site. If that changes we will add the required wording here: "As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases."
Safety comes first, always
Our safety assessment is produced from our evidence and source system before any product is shown. A commission can never turn an unsafe item into a safe one, change a classification, change how strongly we word a warning, or decide which items get checked.
If a product is not right for dogs, we say so — whether or not it earns us anything.
Recommendations are not veterinary advice
Products in the Offers section are suggestions for dog owners, not prescriptions. Always supervise chewing, pick appropriate sizes, and check with your vet if your dog has allergies, a medical condition or a prescribed diet.
Your choice about affiliate tracking
Affiliate tracking only happens if you allow affiliate/advertising cookies. If you reject them, affiliate links still work and still take you to the merchant — we simply do not run extra tracking, and we do not load partner product images from the merchant's servers. You can at any time, and read the Cookie Policy for detail.
Prices
Where we show a price, we read it from the merchant's own product page and refresh it periodically, so it can lag behind the live figure for a few hours. The price at checkout is the one that counts. We never generate affiliate clicks on your behalf.
