No. Chocolate is toxic to dogs and should never be given. Darker chocolate and cocoa powder are the most dangerous.

What to do
Contact your vet straight away and tell them the type of chocolate, roughly how much was eaten and when. Do not wait for symptoms.
When to contact a vet: Contact a vet immediately if any chocolate has been eaten, especially dark or baking chocolate, or if your dog is trembling, restless or vomiting.

Why
Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, stimulants that dogs metabolise far more slowly than people. Dark chocolate, baking chocolate and cocoa powder contain the most theobromine; milk and white chocolate contain less but are still not safe. Effects depend on the type of chocolate, the amount eaten and the size of the dog.
