Why
Fresh strawberries are not toxic to dogs and contain fibre and vitamin C along with natural sugar. Whole berries can be a choking risk for small dogs, so cut them up. Tinned strawberries, strawberry syrup and strawberry-flavoured products are a different matter because of added sugar and possible xylitol.
