Why
Mango flesh is not toxic to dogs. It is high in natural sugar, so it suits occasional treating rather than regular feeding, especially for overweight or diabetic dogs. The large stone is a serious choking and intestinal blockage risk and also contains small amounts of cyanogenic compounds. The skin is tough and can be hard to digest. Dried mango is concentrated in sugar and easy to overfeed.
