Why
Watermelon flesh is not toxic to dogs and is mostly water, which makes it a refreshing warm-weather treat. The seeds are not toxic but can contribute to a blockage if a lot are eaten, and the rind is tough and hard to digest. As with any fruit it contains natural sugar, so keep portions modest.
